The Bird’s Nest

Peace brothers and sisters, 

 I have the joy to want to share this prayer and reflection with you all as something I repeat to myself as I am about to receive Holy Communion. Holy Communion and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament was the key for my cure against the vices of the flesh and desires I looked for in the world. May this be a helpful tool to grow graces to fill you when coming to the Lord in communion in the state of grace. Please always come to him with a clean heart, go to confession if you haven’t for He is always waiting for you to have your soul cleaned by the grace won by His Precious Blood, His infinite Mercy. For if not, we see through our sorrows and pains, but if we receive His mercy in confession we see through the mercy He has given us. He will show you how to be loved when you are humble in heart. Seek His presence to fill you with the desire to have the embrace of God. What better intimacy with God than Him coming into your soul in Holy Communion, to hold Him literary in your heart. 

“[27] Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.”

Oh Lord come to me like a mother feeding her young bird,

for I fly to heaven when I receive you. 

Oh my Mother draw my soul closer to you as I prepare my soul like a nest for the coming of the Son

just as you did when you were called by the Archangel Gabriel, full of grace. 

Oh like a bird feed me with all that my heart desires, 

embrace me like a mother bird when she covers her young with her wings.
